I walked into the house, it's around 12. The party begun hours ago, and has still got hours to go. Music blares into my ears as I search for people I actually know in this crowd of faces. I'm not really looking for anyone I know. I'm looking for you. Careless underagers were already dancing, drink, kissing, pulling, doing the average stuff most people do at our age. Expect for me. I see you standing there, not even doing anything but looking gorgeous. You're stood with Zack, and Rian. I couldn't help but fall for you that day. The first day I was you in the corridor, I didn't know you had this talent for music, I didn't know you played for the school sports team. I mean look at you, if you could see what I saw. You'd realize how people fall for you, instead of being so confused. From that second. That I saw you. Your perfect eyes, and your perfect cheeks, with your perfect skin, and perfect body, that holds a perfect personality. Can you guess I think you are perfect?
I wish I could run away with you. Anywhere. just me and you. Us. Escape this city, it's crashing down anyway. We could make a break, even if it's just for day, let the world burn down behind us. Let chaos chase us. Or we could chase chaos.
But... there is a part of me, that always wants you to stay. Not anyone else. Just you. I want you to notice me. Just realize that I'm here. You can't because I'm too far away. Every time I see your face, I turn around, I go weak at the knees and my breath is gone away. I wish I didn't. I wish I could just talk to you but I can't... because its... well you.
You make me smile, but you don't have any idea who I am. You know my face, but not my voice. You know nothing about me. I've spent my whole life wanting you to notice me until you know me, and name.
I walk across the room. Rian and Zack have smiled at me, but you're still engrossed in your story. Probably about some girl you've pulled, or some game you've won. Your eyes always sparkle when you're talking something you love, or someone. No matter how small it seems to everyone else, you always care about everything. I wish they would sparkle that bright when you talk to me, but instead they just look plain.
But the truth is you're too good for me, I know that, and I'll spend my whole life trying to get you to have an idea who I am...
I've tried speaking to you, time and time again but I slip on my clumsy, careless words, and my impossibly small fingerprints on your arm when you pass me. My nerves tingle when you ruffle my hair, or smile at the person behind me.
All I want to do is leave. Ignore you, go so far away. I want to run away and forget you. I want to have no clues about who you are, or who you were.
Unfortunately I can't. I will always want you to finally notice me, I want to leave but everyone else would ask why I suddenly left. The only problem is I don't care about them. I care about you. So because of that I stay, standing looking at you from a distance. You're so close, but I'm so far away. Never moving till I take you, and run away. Escape this city, and leave it to burn. Just let me dream, make you stay.
